The company approached ioVista for revamping its Ecommerce store to offer a state-of-the-art online shopping experience to users and ease of management for the back-end team.

We offered a unique customization feature for the sales team. It allowed the sales representatives to export the orders for a specific period of time. These customization is available in two formats: Export Orders, which has the order number, customer info, order data, shipping and billing addresses. And, Export Order Items, which consists of order item info, product attributes info and order number. Both were aimed to assist the client in the internal processes of the sales team where they required orders and items info in CSV format for orders at specific sets of time.


As the site was developed in the Yahoo Store, it had several limitations in terms of features, loading time, complex checkout and more. The speed of the site was slow and it was not SEO friendly as well. Also, the User Experience/Interface was poor for both the users as well as for the sales team.


ioVista migrated the site from Yahoo Store to Magento 2 for 360-degree improvement of the store with many advanced Ecommerce features, instrumented with Magento 2.2.1, MySQL, JQuery, HTML 5 and CSS3. It took the UI/UX of the store to the next level. We added My Account Functionality for end users, which was not available in Yahoo Store. The speed of the site was also optimized, which offered better user engagement. As Magento is more SEO friendly than other platforms, the store gained higher ranking in search results.

The new site had a plethora of state-of-the-art features like one step checkout, Search Autocomplete, Advance mega menu, Filter by Price Option, Advance Shipping Rules and more. One of the features, the Abandoned Cart Feature served to be boon for the company as it notifies the sales team if any user abandons the cart and also reminds the users about the items waiting to be bought in their cart.

The list of benefits for the back-end team was also not far in the run. The upgrade with Magento 2 offered a better order management system for the sales team. It eased up the coupon code generation and gift card settings. The new site did wonders for the marketing team with myriad marketing friendly features like Google Shopping Feed Implementation, Dynamic Banner Slider Management, Ajax scroll loading on the product listing page and more.
