Adobe released the latest version 2.4.4 of Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source on April 12, 2022 with many significant feature inclusions, upgrades, and security enhancements.
Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 and Magento 2.4.4 release includes around 250 quality fixes and enhancements. The new release introduces support for PHP 8.1 with all project libraries and dependencies updated for PHP 8.1 compatibility. The core composer dependencies and third-party libraries are also upgraded to be compatible with PHP 8.1. Both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 provide support for OpenSearch 1.2.
