How to Address APSB26-146 Security Update

Applying the hotfix is the immediate priority, but merchants should take a broader security approach because the vulnerability is already being exploited.

Step 1: Identify Your Commerce Version

Check Cron Jobs for Suspicious Activity

Look For:

  • Unknown or recently created cron jobs
  • Commands pointing to unfamiliar scripts
  • Unexpected changes to Commerce-related cron jobs

  • Scheduled commands that don’t match your deployment processes

Scan Server Files for Malicious Changes

Perform a server-level file scan to identify modified, newly created, or suspicious files.

Where possible, compare core Adobe Commerce files against known-good versions.
